Author: Jeremy [ Edit | View ] | Date Posted:07:31:42 10/02/10 Sat A '12' tilt is a low battery and it will have to be replaced. The battery is soldered on the MPU but is easy to unsolder and replace. After replacing hold the white self test button down for three seconds then close the door and turn the reset-key. Be careful when sliding the MPU in and out not to bend any pins. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Author: Jeremy [ Edit | View ] | Date Posted:02:04:56 12/21/10 Tue I have never replaced a battery and still had a 12 tilt so it must be a bad battery or a bad solder connection. These would be the most likely although the MPU may be bad. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Author: Jeremy [ Edit | View ] | Date Posted:13:15:28 10/06/10 Wed You fixed the low battery that's good but the game will need at least a coin comparator to play. The machine will not need a bill validator to work. A 21 tilt is a coin-in-optic error, ether it is missing, dirty and need the dust blown out or the optics are bad. Sometimes it can be the wiring or the MPU but bad or dirty coin-in-optics is the most common problem for a 21 tilt. There is such a thing as tournament mode but this requires the tournament EPROM chips and possible set and clear chips if data gets corrupt. The best bet would be to repair the coin-in-assembly. Author: Jeremy [ Edit | View ] | Date Posted:16:55:21 10/06/10 Wed Here is a link to Happs which shows the models of comparators for each manufacture http://www.happcontrols.com/gaming/coin_comp/coin_guide.htm . Basically the CC-16 is for lower denominations such as 5 and 25 cents. The higher the number CC-20 CC-30 the higher the denom. The other thing to watch out for is inhibit or non-inhibit since it has been awhile I can't remember of the top of my head which one your machine used (I think it was inhibit). Just make sure it is machine specific a Sigma CC-16 will not work with an IGT CC-16 comparator. By the way I would try EBay as Happs prices are very high sometimes. One thing to mention is that a 21 tilt is not from a comparator but from a coin-in-optic problem which is below where the comparator sits. Also the coin comparator and where the coins are inserted outside the machine will be setup for a certain denomination which has to match the comparator 5-25 cents 50 cents token and so on. By the way a bad comparator will not give a machine tilt it just won't take money. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Author: Jeremy [ Edit | View ] | Date Posted:10:19:27 10/29/10 Fri I have never heard of a 47 tilt on an S-plus game so I think that the 47 is left over credits before the jackpot. I would start with the easiest things and be sure they are working such as the buttons and is the door shut completely. The game may need a clear chip to clear out old data although I have not seen that just because of a jackpot. Most likely it is something simple. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

I got a bill stuck in it and had to take the bill acceptor out to get the money out and when I put it back, the light won't light up and it won't accept money. Igt Double Diamond Deluxe Slot Machine Manual
If you want to play a traditional one armed bandit slot from the 1980's online, Double Diamond is by far your best bet. Complete with all the relevant sound effects and Atari style graphics this machine harks back to an almost forgotten era in slot gaming, it's enough to make a veteran slot player like myself positively misty eyed. The game setup, well, there isn't one really, with no bonuses, free spins rounds or the like to consider and just a solitary pay-line in play, this 3x3 reel machine is about as basic as it can possibly get.
Although it may seem dated, Double Diamond has been around so long that its part of slot gaming lore and to have this machine in your range at any decent land based casino is a must. For those with a spot of nostalgia, it's available at some online casinos now too and as an app based free play game even on mobile. Be in no doubt, this is the pacman of slot machines.
You might think that a trip down memory lane would be the only reason to play Double Diamonds, but, beneath the unassuming exterior this game is actually very capable of delivering massive wins versus your stake at any given moment. This is a medium variance game with no bonus features and just one pay-line, given the RTP can go as high as 98% on some versions, those wins can only be delivered in the base game. This is the complete opposite situation to the way which most modern video slots function, where big wins are available usually only in the bonus rounds or free spins games unless you land some form of symbol jackpot or 5 of a kind.
Classic slot machines still have a relevant place in the online gaming world of modern slots, manufacturers churn out new 3 reel slots by the dime a dozen every year and they wouldn't do so if there wasn't consumer demand for the format. As yet, none of them have come close to the success of Double Diamond and, given its unique place in slot gaming heritage, I don't think one ever will. It's not just classic fruit machine style games like those offered by Microgaming which are making a big splash online, the 3 reel format in general has seen a big resurgence of late, we only need to witness the big brand release of WMS's Caddyshack game to see that even big movie themes are capable of using a 3 reeler too.
